FCU partners with Apex Flight Academy to train 50 pilots a year
Share To:
Date of Issue: March 16, 2017
On March 14, FCU and the Apex Flight Academy signed a memorandum of understanding that will see Apex Flight Academy aviation instructors on campus to personally train participating FCU students.
The Apex Flight Academy will send full-time instructors with flight experience to the campus with professional flight-assessment equipment, as well as arrange for interested students to operate flight simulators at the Apex Flight Academy so that students can determine if they are interested in flight training.
Students who participate in the Civil Aviation Program will be able to carry out flight-related training and establish knowledge of airline management and acquire valuable piloting skills. Participation in the Civil Aviation Program ensures that students who obtain a pilot’s license will have a number of employment opportunities, including at Taiwan’s major airlines.
