FCU’s academic accomplishments have once again garnered recognition from the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject.
Published annually since 2011, the QS World University Rankings by Subject lists the world’s top universities in 46 subjects, based on academic reputation, employer reputation, research impact, and h-index (a way of measuring the impact of a published work). The survey utilizes five broad categories to classify subjects: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences & Management.
FCU ranked as the top private comprehensive university in Taiwan in the Engineering & Technology and Social Sciences & Management categories. In addition, for the third consecutive year, FCU ranked as the number one private comprehensive university in Taiwan in the Engineering & Technology category’s Computer Science & Information Systems.
An impressive number of awards and accolades in recent years have made it clear that FCU has an increasingly positive international reputation and a respected academic standing in Taiwan.
