Share To:
ADATA Technology Co., Ltd., the leading memory brand worldwide, holds a product exhibition in Feng Chia University on October 17. ADATA has been dedicated to providing top-notch memory solutions to enrich the digital life of customers. In this exhibition, ADATA unveils an industry-university collaboration via technology transfer, hoping to launch the Smart Life around the campus and the Feng Chia community.
Some innovations from ADATA have been seen on campus, for instance, the smart parking system to minimize the discomfort of drivers’ eyes from light difference. In addition, the smart lighting system puts the spotlight on the building of College of Science and the walking paths to show different views from season to season, making the connections between human beings and technologies. Moreover, 5 Green Guardians were put on campus, not only to light up the school in the evening but also show the air quality via different colors. There will be special designs of Green Guardians on specific holidays or events.
Regarding Feng Chia community, the team consisting of teachers and students of FCU presents the design of Lighting Display Window for sellers to show changeable lights on shops, making windows more attractive and shopping more interesting. ADATA also introduces App JFALO for visitors to get the tourist information such as parking, tours, food and restaurants.
President Lee stated that more than 1.3 million people visit Feng Chia community every year and around 98 percent of them use smart phones. Therefore, it is important to create a smart community for visitors. He appreciated the contribution of ADATA for the collaboration with several teams from College of Information and Electrical Engineering, College of Construction and Development, and School of Architecture. Simon Chen, Founder and Chairman of ADATA, added that this technology transfer will bring a brand new commercial style to Taichung City, now the second most populous city in Taiwan.
