It was officially announced by AACSB(The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)in January of 2019 that Feng Chia University once again obtained the AACSB accreditation, as the first university in central Taiwan to be accredited by AACSB repeatedly.
In order to improve the teaching quality and meet the international standard, Feng Chia University applied to be the member of AACSB and obtained the accreditation in 2014. FCU thus became not only the ninth university in Taiwan but also the first one in central Taiwan to win AACSB accreditation, among 5% of the worldwide AACSB accredited colleges of business and management. Colleges and schools of FCU which obtained AACSB accreditation include College of Business, College of Finance, School of Management Development, and International School of Technology and Management.
The accreditation process is complex and tough, which consists of a variety of evaluations and several stages. The committee members this time, Dr. Ray Whittington, David Rayome and Dr. Ricardo Lim, are very much experienced. They highly valued the performance of FCU in terms of innovation, impact and engagement and ended up with offering a clean report without any suggestion for improvement on the excellent performance. It is expected that FCU will continue to promote the school and improve the education quality.
