iSchool, the first one in Taiwanese universities, was established in Feng Chia University. The launching ceremony was held on March 12th. Ben Jai, the founder of Hope Bay Technologies, will be the university consultant and take part in the planning and operation of iSchool.
iSchool is aimed to offer students an integrated environment for the multidisciplinary practices of six fields including Mobile Apps, Programming & Cloud, Digital Manufacturing, AIoT, Automation & Industries, and Commercial Innovation & Smart Operation.
For example, about plans for Mobile Apps, learning clubs such as iOS Club & Android Club will be founded for all FCU students to take Apps courses. As to ideas for Programming & Cloud, courses of AWS, MPP, and Google digital programs will be given on campus. Regarding projects for Automation, based on the collaboration between FCU and Rockwell Automation, Autodesk and Siemens, students will have easier access to internationally renowned industries for internship.
It is expected that all FCU students catch and trend and prepare themselves for the future careers via the practice in iSchool.
