Dr. Lee pointed out that students have more and diverse approaches to obtain information nowadays, which changes the learning environment. Therefore, he urged himself to keep up with the times. By adjusting the content of the lecture and the way of delivery, he can guide students to develop students’ ability of self-learning. There are three major steps of how Dr. Lee’s class works: Before class, he plans the course activities base on the students’ learning outcomes with the teaching assistants. Second, he adjusts the difficulty of the courses according to students’ learning background and level. During class, he uses the down-to-earth examples to explain theories and at the same time emphasizes the class interaction via games and competitions to achieve the teaching and learning conversation. After class, besides arranging after-class tutoring, he also trains some postgraduates as teaching assistants to provide online tutoring via social media.
